Mindfulness for health
Kylie ~ Mindfulness For Health Program
With 20 years of experience, Dr. Kylie Altson is a dedicated clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist who is deeply passionate about teaching the transformative power of Mindfulness and Compassion therapies.
Her dedication to these evidence-based learnings was sparked by her own awe-inspiring journey as a participant in mindfulness and self-compassion therapies. This personal experience, combined with her professional expertise, fuelled her determination to share these beneficial tools widely.
Kylie finds immense joy in her work, particularly in witnessing the highly rewarding and unique journey of those who commit to their own well-being. She is continually inspired by the wide-ranging benefits her clients share with her as their skills and understandings develop, especially in the quality of the relationship they have with themselves and others.
This program recognises that physical and emotional health are interconnected. Over 8 sessions participants learn and practice Mindfulness and Psychology skills that allow participants to develop their own knowledge to improve a sense of calm and contentment, to be more compassionate and connected with self and others, and to not miss life due to suffering or distraction.
Over 8 weeks participants will learn concepts of:
How to integrate Mindfulness into everyday life
How to work effectively with pain from mental or physical stress in the body
How to let go of the negative self-talk, and ‘catastrophising’
Self-compassion skills training
Interpersonal mindfulness for enhanced relationships
This value focused program can be accessed by contacting Kylie at: kyliealtson@gmail.com, who can provide further details and session availability.
