Roxy started teaching Yoga in 2019, and completed her training with Ihana Yoga and The Yoga Social. Since then Roxy has added Pilates to her to her tool belt in both Mat & Reformer in 2024.

For Roxy, yoga started out as a perk of her corporate job, and quickly became a central part of her week to combat and balance other aspects of her life.  

Roxy's classes are built around mobility, strength and balance, focusing on nurturing and building on these key elements for the body to perform everyday tasks at its optimum level. Her classes are easy going and she encourages her students to have a laugh and find joy in their practice. 

Roxy's favourite part of teaching is seeing the shared passion and connection for yoga and movement ignite in others. Taking time out for themselves and seeing how they grow on the mat, both in confidence and strength. 

Roxy started teaching Yoga at Ardor in 2020 and is now the proud owner taking over the reigns from the Founders in 2025. For Roxy, Ardor is a safe space to find connection and healing, she loves sharing it with the Border community.

Dea discovered Reformer Pilates in 2020 and was instantly captivated, leading her to enroll in a teacher training course within a week.

Dea's greatest joy in teaching comes from witnessing the excitement of her clients as they achieve movements they haven't been able to do in years, whether it's as simple as sitting cross-legged or touching their toes. She is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their bodies and unlock their full potential.

Dea’s classes are designed to be invigorating and spicy yet balanced with ample time for rest, reset and the breath. Dea aims for every person who enters the space to feel confident in their body and comfortable in the environment.

Our beautiful Mel started teaching Yoga in 2014, and you will find her guiding you through many of the offerings at Ardor. Mel completed her Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teaching through the CAE in Melbourne, where she delivered 1040 hours of training. Mel has also recently completed her Reformer Pilates training.

Mel’s classes are a safe & welcoming environment, allowing her students to relax immediately. She encourages her students to connect to their breath first, then allow the movement to follow. She focuses on building strength from the ground up, focusing on supportive alignment and awareness around whatever is happening within their body that day. She focuses on Sthira and Sukha: Steadiness and Ease.

Mel’s favourite thing about teaching is watching the transformation that occurs from when the students first enter the space to when they are awakening from Savasana. She loves feeling the shift in energy to a more Sattvic state, meaning students leave class feeling balanced, joyful and in a state of harmony. 

Alana graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Charles Sturt University in 2006 & has used the pilates method in her clinical practice ever since. Since completing both mat & reformer training with the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute Larn has loved her recent shift into teaching classes. 

She has personally practiced Yoga & both mat and reformer pilates for the past 15 years & loves the mindful nature of both practices. Her favourite thing about teaching is helping support members in their movement practice and getting to know the amazing Ardor community. 

Drawing from her clinical expertise, expect Alana's classes to be technique-driven, balanced, and thoughtfully layered, allowing you to adjust the exercises to your body's needs each day.  You'll always find a relaxed atmosphere, a friendly smile, and some laughter in her classes.

The lovely Jacquie has been teaching pilates since 2015, and you will find her guiding you through our Reformer Pilates offerings. Jac completed her training through Breath Education, after noticing the positive impacts mindful Pilates and Yoga had on her own body and mind.

Jac’s classes are dynamic in style, incorporating strong movements and some cardio, always with a lighthearted energy. Jac loves to see what shapes the body can make, and how people feel after their classes. Her favourite thing about teaching is interacting with the community, sharing stories and being a part of their personal growth. She believes that seeing someone move and achieve something they never once thought possible is one of the greatest gifts.

Sammy completed her Yoga Teacher Training in India in 2017. Loving the experience so much she returned the following year deepening her practice with a month-long sadhana. 

It was during her Postpartum journey that she fell in love with Yin yoga, training extensively with Bernie Clark and Jo Phee. While specializing in Yin, Sammy enjoys teaching various yoga styles and is eager to share yoga's benefits with all levels.

Sammy’s teaching intention is to guide students to holistic balance, fostering physical and mental well-being in a supportive environment. 

Sandra is a certified yoga teacher, meditation and breathwork facilitator. Her personal practice began 11 years ago, when she embarked on a transformative journey filled with self discovery, discipline, and, above all, self love.

For Sandra, yoga is more than just a practice; it's a source of peace and clarity during challenging times, providing her with mental stability when life feels overwhelming. She believes that yoga is a continual journey inward, a path that invites us to explore our true selves.

Sandra is passionate about inspiring, guiding, and supporting others on their personal journeys. Her mission is to help individuals uncover their inner yogi and connect with their higher selves.

Valentina started teaching yoga in 2016, and you will find her guiding you through our Restorative and Pranayama offerings. Valentina has completed multiple trainings through the Health Institute Australia and Yoga Synergy in Hatha Yoga and Yoga for Kids. 

Valentina's classes encourage her students to find unity with the body, mind and spirit, to discover sustainable transformation through self-knowledge. Her classes will leave you feeling safe, challenged and relaxed all at once. 

Valentina's favourite part of teaching is what she receives in turn - practising presence and experiencing all that yoga has to offer in the process. 

Bec is a vinyasa and yin yoga, meditation and breathwork teacher, bodyworker and Sekhem energy practitioner. She has completed over 700+hrs of training under the guidance of multiple renowned teachers. For 9 years Bec has been guiding studio classes and workshops, developing a style that honours creative expression and devotion to self.

Bec shares from the depth of her own practice, the eight-limbed path of yoga, her creative approach to asana and alignment, and her reverence for devotional and heart-centred yoga. With a powerful yet gentle approach to her teaching, she guides students to explore the tensions between stillness and movement, and the connections between body, mind and spirit.

Her dedication to teaching is driven by her desire to help others journey back to wholeness, with simple practical tools that can be implemented into every day.

Our lovely Gabbie completed her mat Pilates teacher training through Barre Body in 2025 and is currently working through her Reformer course.

Gabbie has always loved practising Pilates, and after the loss of a loved one Gabbie searched for a change in her lifestyle to share the stillness that Pilates brings to the mind and body.

Loni started teaching Reformer Pilates in 2022, having studied through Breathe Education. You’ll find her guiding you through our Reformer class offerings.

Loni began her yoga practice as a teenager, and then ventured out to try Pilates as well. She loved the strength and the stillness that both modalities offered her body and her mind.

Loni’s classes are flowy and calm, yet she offers a strong element throughout. Her favourite part of teaching is sequencing classes and practising them with her students.

Our lovely Kate has been a personal trainer for the last 10 years, and most recently completed her Reformer Pilates certification. Kate completed her training through the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers, and her Reformer training through Barre Body.

Kate has always been passionate about health and wellbeing, and loves how exercise can make you feel. For Kate, daily movement is her mindfulness practice. Kates classes challenge the whole body in a fun and creative way, utilising different pieces of equipment to test minor and major muscle groups. Core exercises are her all time favourite, and are a strong focus in her classes.

Kates favourite thing about teaching is being apart of such a gentle, nurturing and caring space, and being able to connect with people in meaningful ways, discovering what lights them up both physically and mentally.

Steph completed her training with Being Yoga in 2021 and started teaching at Ardor almost immediately.

She values an approach to her practice that is sustainable and long term. All of Steph's classes begin with a moment to pause and be present, followed by intentionally chosen movements and words to beautifully enhance your practice, both physically and mentally. 

Steph's favourite part of teaching is watching the pieces of the yoga puzzle come together for students, in recognising the importance of balancing the mind and the body, and the gift that can be for someone. 

Michelle began her yoga journey in 2015, initially looking for a way to slow down amongst the busyness of family life and running her own business. What started as a love of movement soon became something much deeper, inspiring her to share the benefits of yoga with others.

After completing her Yoga Teacher Training with Sagha Studio in Wagga, Michelle continued her studies in Yin and Restorative Yoga. She later trained through Breathe Education and began teaching Mat and Reformer Pilates in 2020.

Michelle’s classes offer plenty of layers and options to make movement feel safe and accessible for all levels, with a focus on empowering you to tune in and listen to what your body needs. Passionate about the benefits of regular movement, she loves seeing the positive impact it can have on health, sleep and overall wellbeing.
